Red Tiger Martial Arts is an established community school serving students across age groups. Because the website supports both enrollment decisions and ongoing student communication, it needed stronger structure and accessibility. I redesigned and rebuilt the Wix site in Webflow, improving information hierarchy, mobile responsiveness, and overall clarity.

The Challenge

The original Wix site presented several usability issues:
  • Content was difficult to navigate and inconsistently organized
  • Program information lacked clarity and structure
  • The layout did not adapt properly to mobile devices
  • Visual elements felt inconsistent and dated
  • Readability was impacted by overlapping imagery and text
The site needed clearer hierarchy, stronger organization, and a modern foundation that could scale.

Strategy

The focus of this redesign was structure first

I analyzed how users interact with martial arts school websites and identified two primary paths: learning about programs and accessing ongoing student information. The new architecture was built to support both journeys clearly and efficiently.

Key Priorities included:
  • Reorganizing program content into consistent, repeatable layouts
  • Simplifying navigation to reduce friction
  • Designing a mobile-responsive system from the ground up
  • Establishing a cohesive visual framework

Design & Build

Information Architecture
I restructured the site to group related information logically and standardize how programs are presented. Each offering now follows a consistent format, making it easier for prospective students to compare options and understand next steps.
Responsive System
The previous site did not properly adapt to mobile. I implemented a fully responsive layout in Webflow, ensuring usability, readability, and hierarchy remain consistent across devices.
Visual & UI System
I introduced a refined design system with consistent typography, spacing, and component styling. This created a more professional and unified online presence.
Seo Optimization
I applied SEO best practices, including structured headings, keyword optimization, and meta descriptions, to improve search rankings and attract new visitors.

Results

The redesigned website now provides:
